Celebrate the festive season with the Kanata Choral Society and trumpets! Enjoy traditional Christmas works including the cantata "Wachet Auf, Ruft Uns Die Stimme" by Buxtehude and the music of Purcell, as well as lighter fare by Rutter, Willcocks and Pentatonix, to name a few. As always, there will be favourite sing- along carols for the audience to join in, accompanied by brass, organ and piano. For those who want to do some Christmas shopping, there will also be the usual silent auction.

Musical fun for the whole family

Join us for a mid-winter break: Solos and small groups from the choir members, as well as choral music for kids of all ages. Sing-along songs and lots of family-friendly musical activities to break up the winter doldrums.

Do you Hear the People Sing? - From Bach to Broadway and beyond

This concert will present the evolution of Musical Theatre from the Baroque Oratorio through Broadway's Hamilton, featuring a medley of choral selections from Les Miserables as well as excerpts from other musicals. Includes works by Bach, Handel, Schönberg, Lloyd-Webber, Lin-Manuel Miranda and many other favourites!
